The Challenge
The project involved installing 65nr CFA bearing piles into sand and clay within a one-week program duration. The piles were designated for individual housing plots, with all bearing piles designed to a safety factor of 3.0, negating the requirement for static pile load testing.
The Solution
Able Piling selected the SR30 CFA piling rig for this project due to its versatility and suitability for safely installing bearing piles on each individual plot. With a design depth of 18.3m, the SR30 was well-equipped to meet project requirements. The installation was completed on time, ensuring smooth progress for the groundworkers' programme.
