THE CHALLENGE
The project involved the installation of 143nr load bearing piles into clay, with a maximum depth of 18.8m. The 300mm diameter piles were constructed to serve as the foundations for new housing plots ensuring stability and structural integrity.

THE ABLE SOLUTION
After consulting with our client, it was agreed that CFA load-bearing piles would be used to provide the foundations for the house plots . The attendant groundworker installed a large pile mat which covered all house plots. This enabled Able Piling to use an SR45 piling rig which could safely track along the pile mat. Reinforcement cages, were installed using an attendant excavator, allowing the piling rig to remain productive throughout the process.
The project was completed on schedule, ensuring a smooth handover with the client.
