1. Positioning of the helical screw with large hollow stem, sealed off at the bottom with a closing nut tip.
2. & 3. Screwing in by means of a powerful rotary head. The especially designed closing nut auger tip prevents any infiltration of water and/or soil during the screwing-in phase.
4. Once the installation depth has been reached and before the concreting phase starts, full-length reinforcement may be lowered into the central tube. The placement can also occur after the concreting phase, into the freshly poured concrete, cf 6.
5. Concreting of the pile by means of a concrete pump with injection of fluid concrete under controlled pressure through the hollow stem of the PCS λ screw. Simultaneous extraction of the PCS λ screw at controlled withdrawal speed.
6. According to the design specifications, the placement of the reinforcement may be done after the concreting phase, into the freshly injected concrete.
7. Finished PCS Lambda screw pile
Possibility of continuous registration of the installation parameters in order to monitor the quality of the execution process.
• Execution into highly stratified layers of soil comprising very resistant layers
• As a single pile or as an element of a pile wall (tangent pile wall) à hypertext
• Infrastructure and industrial projects .
• Vibration-free execution
• Low noise execution
• Less removal of soil from the job site: in comparison with the PCS screw pile, there is less extraction of soil.
• A stable, dry and flat work platform is required.
• Wide range of diameters: from 400 up to 600 mm
• Length of the pile: up to 35 m
• Inclined piles with an inclination up to 1/3
• Allowable bearing capacity up to 2.200 kN
• Possibility to install the PCS λ pile throughout or to anchor the pile in very resistant layers of soil.
• Reinforcement is placed prior to or after the concrete phase.
