BESIX Group entity Wust delivers Nexova's Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence in Belgium

Wust, a subsidiary of BESIX Group, has delivered Nexova's new Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence at the heart of the Galaxia business park in Transinne. The building was inaugurated on 1 September 2025 in the presence of Belgian Minister for Defence, Theo Francken, Belgian Minister for Science Policy, Vanessa Matz, and Vice-President of Wallonia, Pierre-Yves Jeholet.

Comprehensive cybersecurity services

Designed by ASSAR architects and constructed with Belgian expertise, including Wust's contributions, the building offers 3,300 m² of highly secure space. With an investment of €20 million backed by the Walloon region, it is nestled in an area already focused on space and cybersecurity.

This centre features advanced infrastructure: a cutting-edge cyber-range for assessing digital systems' resilience under real-world conditions, a 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC), highly secure data centres, classified zones and a quantum cryptography lab dedicated to pioneering future secure connectivity solutions.

The centre has been carefully designed to blend in with its natural surroundings and have a low environmental impact, in line with BREEAM Excellent certification.

As general contractor, Wust and our partner SPIE coordinated all construction work to deliver this high-performance, resilient building that is perfectly integrated into its site. This project strengthens BESIX Group's presence in the tech and defence sectors in Belgium.
